Bound autograph manuscript translation in the hand of the translator, Boucoivan. Translated from the Greek and Latin edition by Antonio Cochhi which was published in London in 1726. Inscribed and presented by de Boucoivan to Philip Dormer Stanhope, Earl of Chesterfield, while he was ambassador to Holland (1728-1732) and Boucoivan served in Chesterfield's household as an instructor in geography to one of the pages in his retinue. Accompanied by undated ALS with which Boucoivan presented the volume to Chesterfield.
